The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is an action-packed story about a terrorist group that causes destruction and damage to citizens of the United States. The book starts with the terrorist group committing a mass murder of several innocent people shopping at a mall in California. Later on in the book, this same terrorist group finds a way to infiltrate the lines of communication within the United States government. This puts two highly safeguarded financial institutions in New York at risk of becoming compromised. Two undercover agents, Uri and Lara, are sent to a date farm where the terrorist group is nearby in order to bring down the terrorist group once and for all. Their mission is extensive and dangerous. There is a lot at stake for the undercover couple.

I really liked this book right from the beginning. The action started right off the bat and did not stop for the entirety of the book. This book was also full of exciting plot twists, and I really enjoyed reading it. Whenever Uri and Lara began their undercover mission on the date farm, I could not put the book down and I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next.

There honestly was nothing that I did not like about the book. The book is from a series about Uri and Lara but can be read as a standalone. I have only read this book so far and now I want to read the rest of them since this one was so great! I also did not find any grammatical errors or typos in the book, a testament to the exceptional editing done to the book.

I would rate this book five out of five stars for the reasons I have stated above. The book does contain scenes of blood and gore, and this may be disturbing to some readers.

I would recommend this book to any reader interested in action thrillers. I would also recommend this book to an older audience just because of the blood and gore included within the story.
