Lincoln has successfully written this book so that it is interesting right from the beginning. Raven's Peak is both captivating and intriguing with the use of the story, descriptions, and characters. Having people of color as the protagonists of the story is very refreshing. I also appreciate the fact that the story maintained its plot and did not deviate or become confusing by filling pages with useless words and banter. I did not encounter any dry areas that made it difficult to continue reading. It also did not spend too much time on descriptions that felt unnecessary. The use of the pages and words was definitely well thought out and keeps you wanting to know what's next.

It had minimal profanity, making it an appropriate read. There is some use of drugs, but it is brief and not the center of the story. There is also a minute use of sexual content, but it is not descriptive enough to be uncomfortable for readers who do not have an interest in sexual activities. There is fighting and violence, but not shocking or gory content.

The use of words in this book makes it a very easy read without using complicated words that become confusing for the reader. It had fewer than 10 spelling errors, mostly at the end of the book, and was very easy to miss. The editing done for this book was near perfection, making it a very well-read novel.

I do not have any negatives to share about this novel, as the characters, the plot, and the grammar have all been very well written. Everything in this novel was very well thought out and presented, which brings me to my inability to share any criticisms or suggestions for the book to be improved. 5/5 rating, with much anticipation for the next novel.
