"The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci" by Belle Ami is a fictional novel that revolves around the pursuit of a missing renowned artwork. In 1944, a well-known painting by Da Vinci mysteriously vanished. Max, a wealthy German individual, becomes intrigued by the painting's whereabouts as he seeks to absolve his uncle, Gerhard Jaeger, of any association with the Nazis. According to the narrative, Gerhard Jaeger, a German art historian employed at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence during the war, took possession of the Da Vinci painting while escaping the war-ravaged city with his lover, Sophia, to Montefioralle.

Several years after the war ended, Max enlisted the services of investigators, namely Mr. Scordato and Alex, to launch an inquiry into the whereabouts of a valuable painting that Max's uncle had taken from the Uffizi Gallery during the war. Scordato, an art consultant, had an intern named Angela who possessed a unique ability to uncover secrets through her dreams—a skill that Scordato aimed to exploit for his personal benefit. Meanwhile, Alex, an art detective, shared a special connection with Angela, as they had been lovers in their past lives. Did Scordato succeed in manipulating Angela for his own selfish motives? Was the missing painting ultimately located? And did Max achieve his objective of exonerating his uncle from any association with the Nazis? To uncover the answers to these questions, delve into the pages of this book.

The narrative within this book appears to support the idea of reincarnation, suggesting that history repeats itself cyclically. The affection between Fioretta and Guiliano appears to have been reborn in the present connection between Alex and Angela. The initial encounter between Alex and Angela implies that they were once intertwined in a past existence. The profound love they shared in their prior lives initiated a series of events that united them in their current lives.
The book's author possesses a remarkable talent for storytelling. Skillfully, he intertwines the lives of the main characters, skillfully contrasting their past and future. Additionally, I appreciate the inclusion of occasional Italian phrases throughout the various chapters.

The editing of this book was executed exceptionally well. I found no aspect of this book that I did not enjoy. The author dedicated significant effort to the development of the characters. Readers should be prepared for explicit sexual content throughout the book. Taking all of these factors into account, I am granting this book a rating of five out of five stars.

I would suggest this book to individuals who have an interest in romance novels. Additionally, those who appreciate detective fiction will find the story within this book to be thought-provoking. Furthermore, if you possess a fondness for renowned artworks, you will derive pleasure from reading this book.

The story in this book made me appreciate the works of Leornado da Vinci the more. Angela was my favorite character in this book because of her special talent to see into the future.
