Dr. Sean Nolan is not your typical physician. Having a bad habit of chasing mysteries, in this book, the mystery begins when a young woman of Asian descent walks into his clinic with a high fever and complains of abdominal pain. When the woman shows signs of abuse, and all the information she provided turns out to be false, Dr. Nolan becomes suspicious and gives her a card with his phone number on it. When he gets a call from the local medical examiner the very next day, he learns to his dismay that his patient had been murdered. The police and medical examiner brush off this Jane Doe as just another murdered prostitute, but the tragic news leaves Dr. Nolan with an urge to investigate what happened to this young woman. This leads him down a rabbit hole into a nefarious industry.

Corrigendum is a book I would rate 4 out of 5 stars. The plot and the characters are so amazing. While I was reading it was like a movie in my head. What keeps the book from getting a perfect rating is the poor quality of the text. While I was reading, I was finding so many misspellings, typos, and grammar errors. At some points in was not bad, but over ten times it made the book hard to read. If the book had been professionally published, I think then it would be deserving of 5 stars.
