Review of The Date Farm
The USA is under intense attack by Islamic terrorists. The terrorist group gave no breathing space as they dished out their well-planned assaults, which included suicide.
Uri Levin and Lara Edmond are newlyweds. They decided to take a break from work and went on vacation at Lara's family house. There, they had a great time and even had an intimate moment almost at the end of their stay. A distress call from Beverly Hills rendered their vacation incomplete. A terrorist group attacked a mall in Beverly Hills, leaving 58 people dead and 27 injured. It was a typical summer Saturday evening at the mall when ten black-clad men attacked, opening fire on the unaware crowd. The young couple, also agents, were summoned immediately to Los Angeles to investigate the massacre. They also found out that the terrorists had also interfered with their communication system. What could be the motive for the attack? Why were they targeted at the US? How long will the attack continue? Read The Date Farm by Jack Winnick to find out.
The Date Farm is the fourth installment of the Lara and Uri series. It is a 334-page fictional book that exposes the Islamic terrorism methods of Americans and Jews. I admire the author’s writing style. Although reading the other books in the series is needed for complete understanding, the book can be read and enjoyed as a standalone. The book was professionally edited; I found a few errors while reading.
I had some dislikes about the book. The book contained a lot of underdeveloped characters. It was a challenge to keep up with the characters. I just had to focus on the main characters while reading. The book was also unnecessarily lengthy. Also, there was no glossary to give meanings to unfamiliar acronyms like LAPD and LAX. Therefore, I will rate this book four out of five stars.
I recommend this book to lovers of action, crime, and thrillers. I also recommend this book to older or more mature readers, as it contains some elements of violence.
