Review of E M P Honeymoon
E M P Honeymoon by Dorothy May Mercer is an entertaining crime thriller that revolves around a newlywed couple, Kelly and Tom, who discover the unexpected on their honeymoon in Honduras, leading to a rescue mission to protect Central America from a planned terrorist attack against them.
Their honeymoon took them down to Honduras to stay at a nice resort, Barefoot Sands Resort and Spa. Things seemed to be going as planned until Kelly decided to visit a pigsty shop to purchase a few gift items, but to her greatest surprise, she didn’t see anyone in the store. She was curious and decided to walk around before she found the unexpected. Kelly was attacked by a strange person but was fortunate enough to have survived and promptly informed her brother, Senator Mike McBride, about what transpired at the pigsty shop. They wouldn’t hesitate to contact the security units in charge, which led to some action-packed moments as they unraveled a lot of mystery. Pick up a copy of the book to enjoy this amazing crime thriller.
There are many positive aspects to this book, but what I loved best was the author's creativity. The author is a very creative writer who has very good writing skills. Having read a few of her books in the past, I can confidently come to the conclusion that when it comes to crime thrillers, Dorothy May Mercer is the best. The storyline of the book was well written, and I found it engaging and interesting because of the different plot twists implored by the author as well as the well-developed characters and the introduction of new characters. The suspense in the book is another aspect I loved because it tended to make me concentrate and be curious about what would happen next. I also love the cover page of the book because I find it attractive and it gives me a nice impression of what I should expect from the book.
I disliked the title of the book because I felt it didn’t cover the whole content of the book. There was more to the book than just Kelly and Tom's honeymoon. Because of this, I would rate the book four out of five stars. I must also note that the book is educational in that it talks about modern technology and its effectiveness in avoiding terrorist attacks and combating crimes. The themes of the book are love, technology, romance, and teamwork.
The book was free from all forms of error because the author ensured that it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend the book to fans of crime thrillers and fictional books because I believe this is a book they will love to read.
