Frank Morris is adopted by Don Joseph Cabineri after he loses his parents at the age of 8. Don Cabineri is the head of the most powerful crime family in New York. As a kid, Frank is thought to be a man of honor to the family, and he is trained to be the next Don of the family. Trying to bring honor to the family, Frank joins the North Korean War when he grows up. He meets Roy Easten in the war, and they become friends. Their friendship doesn’t last long as Roy dies on the battlefield while saving Frank’s life. Frank returns home as a hero, but always with a feeling of guilt because of Roy’s generous act. Frank carries on with life as 30 years pass, with him getting arrested and sentenced to death and then escaping multiple times. He even undergoes plastic surgery to completely change his identity so nobody can recognize him. Frank lives in the shadows, while everybody except Don Cabineri thinks he is dead. Frank then fights to get back to the Cabineri family after Don Cabineri is betrayed and killed by one of the most trusted members of the gang. Frank then struggles along on his mission as he finds out that Roy Easten’s son, Scott, who is an assistant attorney in the case involving the Cabineri family, is in massive danger as the mafia wants to get rid of him. Now, Frank must either defeat the betrayers of the gang and get back the honor that the Don had left for him, or choose to save the son of his loyal friend, the friend who died saving his life on the battlefield. What will destiny do with Frank Morris? Read this thrilling mafia-themed novel to find out!

Unyielding Destiny by Spiros Gratsias is an amazing book. What I liked the most about it was the message of loyalty that it carried throughout the book. The story was so interesting, and the turns and twists made it even more likable. Even though it was my first time reading a mafia-themed book, it was something extraordinary, and I didn’t even expect it that way. I realized there is a completely different bond between the crime families, and I think the kind of trust and loyalty showcased in this book should be taken as an example. I liked everything about the book, and there is nothing negative to say about it.

I would give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because I read a wonderful book with great messages. The hard work and creativity of the author can also be seen throughout the pages. The book is professionally edited, as I couldn’t find any errors or grammatical mistakes while reading. It is a well-deserved rating, and there is no reason for me to give a lesser rating than that. I appreciate the author's great work.

I would absolutely recommend this amazing thriller to all readers who love crime and mafia stories. Even if you don’t like those kinds of books, just give this one a try. I am sure you will like it. I would also like to mention that the book contains shooting and fight scenes, so if you are ok with all of those, then Unyielding Destiny is completely recommended to you.
