It's strange how some of your childhood friends grew up to be completely different people. East Wind, 2nd Edition by Jack Winnick is a book that takes readers on an adventure.

Uri, a Mossad agent, leads his team on a mission against terrorists. During the ensuing battle, he discovers that the leader of this faction of terrorists is his childhood friend. He takes the burden upon himself and kills his friend. Uri obtains some vital notes in the terrorist camp. A few days later, he is assigned to work with the FBI in America to decipher the meaning of the notes. How will his mission in America go? To find out, grab a copy.

I liked how accommodating Lara's character was. She accepted Uri, and it helped their partnership grow. They fit each other like a glove. Their partnership at work is something I admire. I like how Lara chose a path for herself and stuck to it, even when others didn't believe in her. I admired their professionalism in all situations they encountered.

I like that the book gives us the perspective of both the good and the bad guys. Readers can try to understand why people act the way they do. The title and cover page was fitting. The title of the book is a summary of the book. I found no errors in the book, which indicates that it was well-edited. I happily give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I found nothing to dislike about the book.

The most important lesson I took away from this book is patriotism. Lara and Uri were patriotic and fought for their respective countries with all they had. We all need to be patriotic in some way. Terrorism is a crime against humanity, and offenders should be severely punished. In the book, the terrorists mislead the people using their religion. Religion is sacred, and all religions preach love. I recommend this book to military personnel and historians.
