East Wind, 2nd Edition by Jack Winnick is a crime fiction novel that begins by telling the story of terrorist attacks in the United States. This situation brought two agents from two different countries to work on this case, and while they are working on it, a romantic relationship develops, giving the book its proper content.

Uri Levin, a Mossad agent, is summoned to assist the US in combating Hezbollah terrorists. Uri has worked on cases involving Hezbollah terrorists in the past, so he teams up with FBI agent Lara Edmond to solve a case involving a nuclear threat from Hezbollah terrorists. Walid is another character who works for Hezbollah terrorists and has been summoned to attack the United States, but when he arrives, he finds it difficult to carry out the attack. Will he go through with it? On the other hand, Lara, an FBI cybersecurity agent who has been on this case, has intercepted mail and codes online but hasn't gotten the full picture of what the terrorist organization is planning, so there is hope to solve this mystery with the help of Uri. Will they be able to succeed? Get this book to learn everything that happened.

This book has a compelling storyline, well-developed characters, and a compelling plot that will keep the reader interested throughout. The book depicts intense action, the romance between the two protagonists, and the solving of the mystery. I liked how this book offers a unique perspective on several specific topics or issues that can be useful and informative. I get to see how the government works and how deals are made and considered. I also like how the protagonist and antagonist's motivations are highlighted, which contributes to their amazing character development. I get to see why Lara works for the FBI, as well as why Uri is so ruthless. I believe the author employs a good writing style, syntax, and grammar to make the dialogue enjoyable to read and simple to follow. The book is exceptionally well-edited and error-free.

I have no complaints about this book. The book takes the reader behind the scenes of the political world and explains how nuclear weapons work. The romance between the two protagonists was the most engaging content for me. It was mind-blowing to see how these two lovers put their lives in danger, which gave me emotional depth for this book.

This book gets 5 out of 5 stars from me because of its engaging storytelling, unique perspective, and good writing style. I'm excited to read the next installment of this book. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys international thrillers, action, and romance.
