Devil in False Colors by Jack Winnick is a fiction story. It is full of surprises and violence. It’s also an action thriller. Lara and Uri put their lives on it to resolve who was behind the Los Angeles attack and put an end to it.

The two agents Ahmad and Sarah disguise themselves as an ally to Javad. Their plan to rescue Lara was a success. After the escape, the three of them were able to locate Uri. Even after all the fights and horror, they were able to eliminate the enemies. The FBI Lara Edmond discovered the Iranian's plan to insert the worm into the DOD computer system and stop them. Homeland Security upgraded the computer-driven program that safeguards any attempt and surprise from the terrorist. And Uri was saved and brought back to Los Angeles. Lara finally decided to move to Israel. Finally, Lara and Uri were married in the end. This was an inspiring event between Lara and Uri knowing that they will be together after many years of off-and-on relationship makes you wonder if they would ever be together for good. The ending was very fulfilling. It gives the readers excitement and looks forward to the next series.

The brutal massacre of a Jewish school leaves heartbreak and fear. Non-stop hatred between the Arab and Israel causes a lot of distractions and deaths. When Lara finally met Imam Ali Musa to spy on him, unfortunately, she was identified as Lara Edmond and held as their prisoner. Although, she was able to find a way to escape only to get captured again. Also, her micro-transmitter was taken and taped in the car. Uri's identity was also exposed and he was captured and held as a prisoner awaiting Javad's decision. It was the toughest situation that Uri's been in since the last time that he was involved. This was a very heartbreaking event that one of the agents Ahmad lost his life trying to save Uri.

The book was well-edited. I would rate this book 4 out of 5. I really enjoyed how the story progresses since the first book I read. It gives the readers to engage in the story.

I recommend this book to any adults who like action thrillers and suspense. The continuity of the story was very fascinating and make you turn pages by pages. This is my second book from Jack Winnick. I am looking forward to another series of Uri and Lara.
