The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci by Belle Ami is about the art researcher who was able to see the past. She is hunted by nightmares every time she sleeps that takes a toll on her health. One day, she will meet an art detective who will hire her to find a missing painting by Leonardo Da Vinci. Little did they know, the art piece is also the painting that Scordato wants. He would constantly watch every move of the two, because he believed that Angela would be the key in finding the painting. As time goes by, Angela and Alex will fall in love with each other while going on an adventure to find out what is the meaning of Angela's dream and how it is related to Da Vinci's masterpiece.

What I like about the book is the way Angela and Alex were able to find comfort in each other's arms. I loved how in the past, they always experienced a tragedy, but they were able to end it by fighting for the love they have. I also admire how Alex is always present whenever Angela needs him the most; he always takes cares of her and never lets her suffer alone. I also like how Alex spoiled Angela in experiencing tours and the food that you can find in every city that they went to. He is not afraid of sharing what he has with the girl who she loved the most. As for Angela, I liked that she never took advantage of what Alex could offer and enjoyed the love that they built during their adventure.

What I don't like about the book is when Angela's co-worker tells his boss regarding her problems that she encounters. Because of this, she lost her diary due to robbery. But other than that, I enjoyed reading the book.

I will rate this book a 4 out of 5 stars, because it is exceptionally edited and I don't notice a mistake. This novel is also a great way to teach history to readers. The author was able to use the knowledge that she had about paintings and turn it into a masterpiece in her own way.

I will recommend this book to young adults, because it is a romance genre that they will surely enjoy. They will also admire the how Angela and Alex fight their way to accomplish the peace that they have been seeking for a long time. Other than experiencing the romance between the two, they will also acquire knowledge about different people in history.
