Review of The Date Farm
The Date Farm by Jack Winnick is the fourth book in the Lara and Uri series. This is a fictional book that tells the story of terrorist attacks that took lives and destroyed the property of many. It's an exciting thriller that I cannot get tired of reading.
A group of terrorists invaded a shopping mall in Beverly Hills. They shot sporadically at people in the mall. This caused a lot of damage and also led to the deaths of over forty-eight people. It was discovered that the perpetrators of the act were islamic terrorists who had the motive to cause harm to the United States and Israel. After a few weeks, another attack was carried out in New York at the Federal Reserve and Chase Manhattan Bank. The FBI had to send for Lara and Uri once again. The couple had no choice but to cut their vacation short to answer the call of duty. This leads them to various parts of the world, including one of the enemy camps at a date farm in Iran. Grab a copy of this book to find out the reasons behind the terrorists' attacks.
Terrorism attacks have been a major form of violence that negatively affects society. Such attacks should be prevented by all means possible in order to protect lives and properties. There are many positive aspects to this book, but what I love the most is the setting. I must commend the author for the storyline of this book. It was really interesting to read, and I must say that this is my favorite book in the Lara and Uri series. I love how fast-paced the book is. It eliminated any form of boredom. The suspense in the book is another thing I liked. It made me curious, as I was so focused and anxious to know what would unfold on the next page.
The only thing I disliked about the book was the communication between Lara and Uri. They didn't really communicate like a couple. The cover page of the book is nice, and I love it. I also commend the author for giving the book a perfect title. The author is a creative writer, and I must appreciate him for the different plot twists explored in the book. There were no errors in the book. This shows the book was exceptionally well edited.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. There was no reason to deduct any stars from the book. I recommend this book to adults that love thrillers and action-packed books because they would find it interesting to read.
