"Emp Honeymoon: Kelly and Tom" is an action-packed thriller written by Dorothy May Mercer. This book encompasses love, action, suspense, and anything you could think of. Tom and Kelly are a newly married couple who went to Honduras for their honeymoon, but what would be their fate in Honduras? as Kelly discovers a major secret that may change their main purpose in Honduras.

Tom Turbulo is a sergeant who gets married to Kelly McBride, and they set out for their honeymoon in Honduras. On a sunny day, Tom goes on an excursion while Kelly explores a gift shop, where he is almost captured by a man. She nearly escapes and contacts her brother, Senator McBride, in a phone call, but she wasn't able to give him any details. As soon as Tom gets home, Kelly tells him about her ordeal, and Tom starts making inquiries about the information Kelly gave him. When Tom and Kelly investigate the gift shop and discover a mind-blowing plot by Third World terrorists to cause destruction in the United States, they are quickly joined by two top-notch female agents. Their honeymoon turns into an adventure as they try to save their country.

What I dislike about these books are the characters. I really didn't buy into Kelly and Tom because I couldn't relate to them. I think the characters were a bit underdeveloped. I also had problems with the plotting of this book because of how poorly it was structured. This book, I must say, started with an amazing feat but declined as the stories went on.

I didn't like some aspects of this book, but what I loved in it was more than what I hated. I believe this book had everything, from love to romance to thriller to action. It balanced the books, and if you are really looking for a suspense book to read, I think this one will do.

I will rate this book 4 out of 5 stars; I will definitely not give it a 5 because it wasn't even free of errors, as I found some grammatical errors during my course of reading this book, but it was professionally edited, but I will be too judgemental if I give less than a 4 because, let's be sincere, this novel was more than amazing. I do recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense, action, or thrillers, but you will be surprised to find out that half of the world's population will actually like this book.
