The VT2 smartwatch developed by VitalTech's Vijay Patel and his crew is the central idea in Van Fleisher's novel Final Notice. A cutting-edge item of technology is the watch. It is the first of its kind to be able to predict a person's precise date of death. "What would you do if you knew that your days were numbered?" is an apparent issue raised by the VT2. Is the existence of this technology advantageous or harmful to society? Such inquiries help Fleisher's book shed light on a number of concerns that are observed and dealt with in America.

I enjoyed how a regular couple slowly guided you through a confusing series of problems at the beginning of the novel, making it easy to forget that it was fiction. I found myself gradually sucked in as the plot developed. Vince is experiencing anxiety about getting older, and, following an incident in which he is pushed down by someone considerably younger, he is forced to confront his own vulnerability. And because Vince and Trudi frequently watch the news together, they are constantly exposed to tales about gun violence, which causes Vince to mutely wonder whether he should consider getting a gun in order to feel safer. The worlds of technology, politics, large corporations, common people, the FBI, death, shootings, easy access to guns, aging, and the NRA will be yours to experience.

It's fascinating to read about those who choose the moral high ground and carry out good activities in contrast to those who turn to criminal activity without concern for the consequences. Observing how people facing probable death can exhibit their finest and worst traits is interesting. Despite being entirely hypothetical, the concept of this book is compelling and unquestionably realistic given the developments in contemporary medicine and technology. I had to constantly remind myself that the VT2 watch is still in development and that the characters are fictional. The characters have undergone extensive character development, and the circumstances they find themselves in are completely plausible. There was nothing in this book to dislike.

The book by Van Fleisher was really simple to read, timely, and engaging. The author's inventive framing of his novel around current social and political problems plaguing the United States of America, including prejudice against senior citizens, gun violence, political polarization, climate change, technology, illness, immigration, and civil society movements like the "Me Too" Movement, impressed me. Van Fleisher's work gained legitimacy and currency because of this strategy. The book featured an engaging plot, a compelling setting, multiple points of view, conflict, a satisfying climax, and the growth of compelling characters. The author's writing style was quite entertaining, and his use of descriptive prose helped to bring the plot to life.

The book has good grammar and a smooth flow. There were no grammatical or spelling errors that I noticed. The plot deals with contemporary hot topics like politics, gun ownership, crimes against seniors, and homicides. Because it connects to the other narrative, I loved reading each of the story's various scenes.  Final Notice by Van Fleisher receives my highest recommendation five out of five stars. If you enjoy reading action-packed crime thrillers, you should read this book.
