Tragedy has hit the United States of America. A deadly nuclear explosion outside of Los Angeles leaves millions scared. Lara, an FBI agent, and Uri, a Mossad agent, are put to the test to bring down the terrorist group that caused this nuclear attack. Lara is a super-intelligent, sophisticated agent who uses websites to track and uncover hidden communications among terrorists. Uri is one of the best field agents in a secret branch of Mossad. After the tragic attack in Los Angeles, these two agents were brought together to take down the terrorist group that came forward and took the blame for the blast.

With an added hint of romance, these two agents must save the United States of America from another attack. How will they figure out where the next strike is? Will they pull it off? Read this thrilling and suspenseful novel to find out!

This was such an incredible book; I could not put it down! Jack Winnick did a fantastic job at keeping the story interesting. This is definitely at the top of my list of favorite books I have read. I look forward to continuing to read this series that follows Lara and Uri.

There are many positive aspects I enjoyed about this story. How Winnick walks us through everyone’s life and how they got to where they are at the time of the bombing was fascinating. Learning about each person’s background and what made them into the people they are added a unique sense of understanding. Winnick did a great job making me feel like I was right there with each character, learning and understanding their thoughts, beliefs, and actions. I was on the edge of my seat for the last few chapters. I felt like my heart was beating out of my chest too.

This book was so good; I did not find any negative aspects about it. I have high expectations for the books to follow. I highly recommend East Wind, 2nd Edition .

I rate East Wind, 2nd Edition a 4 out of 4. I believe this book was professionally edited. The device I used to read this novel showed punctuation errors, but when I would highlight the mistake, it would show up corrected without me doing anything. My device was not working correctly, so I saw a few punctuation errors. I do not believe those to be editing errors but a mistake with my Kindle. This does not affect my rating overall.

I recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys thrilling, suspenseful stories. I also recommend this to anyone who likes action-packed, terrorism, and government-related issues. Please be advised to anyone that dislikes violence or descriptive deaths, as this book has descriptive details regarding deaths and fight scenes. There is mild profanity and a sex scene that is not explicit.

In all of the Lara and Uri book series by the amazing Jack Winnick, I've also noticed the selfless quality possessed by both characters. Lara and Uri are not afraid to put themselves out there and stop terrorism.
