The book “Requiem for a Queen” was written by Kaylin Mcfarren. The story was centered on three major characters Samara, Lucifer, Lucinda, and other fascinating characters.
There was an ongoing war between Heaven and hell. Lucifer's demons captured Damian, in a bid to save her lover Samara defied her parent's warning against going to hell she was captured by Lucifer's army where she was locked in the closet and repeatedly raped by Lucifer. Along the line, he fell in love with Samara and considers making her his queen.
Samara was subsequently kidnapped by the Nexus army when she found out she was pregnant, she manages to escape and was hiding in the cave. It was at this place that she met Onoskelis, who helped her by taking her into her home. Lucifer's army was searching for her in the forest. After Samara gave birth to a son named Papillion, she decided she was going to hide her son's identity in order to protect him from Lucifer's influence. Will she succeed in this plan? Grab your copy to find out!

Lucinda kidnaps Papillion, whom she sees as a threat to her ambition of becoming the ruler.
The author also illustrates how far a mother can go for the safety of her child. Samara put her life in danger by going after Lucinda. She suffered a great ordeal from The black Dragon and Boltis the Demon killer. I can't help but admire her determination and resilience in her mission, even when she was faced with death she was still persistent. It reminded me of the saying.” where there is a will, there is a way.

I was thrilled by the way the author unveil the story and how each story connect to the other. I enjoy the suspense that keeps you spellbound. It literally glues you to your seat. And how the scene unfolds itself.
The author was exceptional creativity in his writing. He hooks you at the corner, and when you think that you know what's going to happen, the story takes a different turn. He portrays the height at which people’s quest for power and love can darken their sense of reasoning. This was exhibited by Lucinda, this made me wonder about the extent people can go just because they want to assume power.
I also admire the theme of love in this story how Damian organized his team on a rescue mission for Samara knowing how dangerous the journey was and Samara's reunion with her family.

I absolutely love the book, I did not dislike anything about it. I must commend the author on her ingenuity and creativity to craft this masterpiece. From the plot to the settings and how each chapter flows and connects to the other characters flows in sequence. This is indeed Creativity. One of the lessons I picked from this book is never to give up no matter what, and the determination to fight to the end.

This book was professionally edited. However, I found a few errors which made it difficult for me to rate it Four stars. I rate the book three out of four stars. Apart from these errors, I loved reading it. I will recommend this book to anyone who appreciates literature, adventure, suspense, and actions.
