Review of East Wind, 2nd edition
Have you ever wondered about seeing your death? I mean, you watch how your throat is being slit up by unknown people. I guess it is miserable. In the book, East Wind, 2nd edition by Jack Winnick, the author starts by talking about a successful terrorist attack that took place in a school. Everyone was slaughtered except one person, who I say was lucky to be alive. He was left to tell the story. Was he able to tell the story? For a better understanding, grab a copy of this book.
Uri was a special agent for an Israeli organization. Of course, he was hired to investigate the terrorist attack. During the investigation, he found some documents which could lead to the mastermind of this terrorist, but Uri could not interpret them. An unknown meeting was summoned by Mandel. What was the meeting about? Read this book. Lara, an FBI agent and computer wizard, was to join hands with Uri to investigate the unknown word "opera," which was later found to be a constructive website the terrorists used to communicate. Through the use of this website, they were able to learn of the plans of the terrorists.
The first successful bombing in Los Angeles was launched. This mounted pressure on the investigation. Uri and his team were given five days to find the terrorist and know the next possible location for the next unpredictable attack. Was this possible? I must say this was my favorite part of this book. The suspense was great, which kept me alert in all parts of the book. I also enjoyed the romance in this book because it gave me a chance to relax. The plot of this book was full of fun and I commend the author for this. I also loved the characters used in this book; they were well-developed and looked natural despite the book's having so many characters. The author made use of simple sentences and trivial words, which led to no confusion during the reading.
I must say, the book was good but had some flaws. I think the beginning of the book was a bit complex and somewhat hard to understand. I did come across some punctuation errors and some over-spaced words, but they were not major and didn’t distract me during the reading. I found no errors in this book. This book was professionally edited by the author.
I loved the ending of this book; it was energizing and left me thirsty for more. I rate this book, East Wind, 2nd edition by Jack Winnick, a perfect 4 out of 4 stars. I see no reason to deduct a star from this book. I recommend this book to adults as it contains sex scenes; to fans of thriller novels; and also to those who can withstand blood scenes. This will be a great read for the categories mentioned above.
