E M P Honeymoon has the potential to make a good action thriller. It is the story of two newly wedded couples, discovering a deadly plan whilst on their honeymoon. Kelly, the wife accidentally stumbles into the terrorists' lair while she was going through a gift shop. There, she overhears them plotting an all out war to seize power from hands of the united states. She, being in a state of panic after almost getting caught, calls her brother but doesn't give him any substantial information. After narrowly escaping from the terrorists, she tells everything to her husband, Tom. Tom goes back to the place and takes pictures to use as evidence.

Kelly's brother, Mike, uses his instincts and sends agents down to investigate. During the investigation, a lot of secret plots are uncovered and thus began the thrilling adventure of Tom and Kelly. Then duo must then work together, alongside the federal agents to stop the plan of the enemies.

The story plot is great, with the spy actions and all. I like the fact that the story got into the action from the get go and was fast paced.

I also like that there was little to no romance beside the occasional flirting. A couple more romance would have definitely spoilt the wonderful concept of the story.

Dorothy May Mercer did a great job of giving readers an idea of what a space force would look like (if there wasn't any yet) and what they were capable of. How the US agents handled the terrorist was somewhat satisfying.

However, I'd say the terrorist were not so much as a threat. I'd say they were misunderstood but that's not the case. They love doing damage but are not really enlightened on how to carry it out. They were just overly cute with their various antics. My favourite was Dear Leader. He was the type of villian everybody just cannot hate.

Then there was my favourite girl Cynthia, taking action and taking the lead from the main characters.

I'd give the book a 3 out of 4 just because I felt that there wasn't any real communication between the main characters. Everyone was basically just jumping into conclusions and making decisions based on their own discretion. Other than that, the book is totally awesome, definitely recommending it.
