Spellbound – The Workings of Drugtech is a crime novel written by Marcel Sahade. The book contained many stories that have to do with DrugTech. It involves crimes, mystery, suspense and a lot more that will leave readers at the edge of their seats.

Mr Hunter was an unusual barrister of law who had never lost a case in the last fifteen years. All admired him because of his success stories. Jennifer is a fresh graduate of law, and she is understudying Mr Hunter. They just finished a court case that was too difficult to win, and Mr Hunter came out a success. The media and everybody around him were curious about the secret to his success. Jennifer had to approach him to find out the secret to his success. What she found out was mysterious.

Simon and Evan were brothers who loved each other. Simon was gifted in electronics and worked as a video repairman, while Evan was a stockbroker with more losses than gains. Simon was working on a spy technology that can be installed in a video player and television. Evan loved the technology and requested it as he wanted to use it to spy on a company named DrugTech. He believed they were hiding something, and he is desperate to find out and use it to his advantage.

The author did a wonderful job with this book as the book was interesting, fun and suspense-filled. Marcel made sure that the book was written in simple English. This made the book an easy read. The book was also written in the third-person narrative, and this allowed all readers to know the feelings of each character that were used. The author also made sure he described all the scenes of the story and this allowed me to picture the environment in which various scenes took place. All the stories provided looked different at first and as the story progresses the author carefully introduced some similarities. This brought out the suspense aspect of this book. The stories also vary in length and characters which make the book dynamic. All these made me enjoy this book.

I hate nothing in this book as it was written, and all characters provided were interesting. The book was also professionally edited with no errors noticed. Therefore, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I will recommend this book to lovers of crime novels with multiple stories that are related in content.
