The story starts with a heinous crime of a father murdering his son, his own blood. What drastic scenario could have lead to a gruesome murder? Benjamin Poe is a brave fire-fighter, a loving husband, and a dedicated father but the twist of events presented itself in front of Ben which led him to live his life behind the bars in charge of second-degree murder.

Ben finally decided to spill the beans in front of his lawyer, Pierce Beaudoin after 4 years of silence creating the aura of the most hated and feared man to ever live(named by the people of Lochton, Illinois).
He started with the most heavenly tale until he came up with the green-eyed monster, Crighton. It all started with the fire which involved his son and opened far too many wounds for him to swallow. The fire killed 3 people which was first believed to be arson, until Ben received the information that his son, Gabriel reported the incident, Ben was shocked, to say the least, which led to very disturbing fights within the family and quite a lot of suspicion. With an already fragile marriage and almost irreparable relationship with his son, Ben's life was falling apart, until Crighton came and smashed the left over pathetic pieces of his already miserable life making him the murderer of his son.

Crighton was a demon and the best soul-catcher of Lucifer and he was given a strenuous job was bringing a soul of an angel, Ariel. In the middle of chaos, he was imprisoned by The Sovereign Sector: a group of scientists who were notoriously known for loiter-ring with supernatural power. Not only Crighton but Ariel was also captured. From here their blooming romance started to wind up the story.

This story is so stroking that you can never feel you are already sinking into the story until your body feels numb sitting in the same position for hours.
That is the level of gripping it has on you. This story is marvelous, with its great twist and turns along the way but also for the amazing character.

You will feel as if you know it all about the hell, the heaven as if you living it all. You must be expecting the supernatural beings to be very different but actually, the way they have been portrayed is very humanly, you might even feel one of them and very different at the same time.

One thing for sure this is not just a love story. People who are very active in reading fantasy will devour this book in no time. Although, I must give you a heads-up for some gruesome details that some people might not appreciate a lot. This book is exceptionally well-edited with almost no faults witnessed. I will give this book, Soul Seeker by Kaylin McFarren a 4 out of 4 stars due to all the facts mentioned above.

Happy Reading:)
