If you are looking for a book that gets you excited to the point that you need to know what happens next, then this is a must-read action thriller book. East Wind by Jack Winnick will keep you off your seat, but along this heroic ride, there is romance brewing.

Uri Levin is the Special Operations arm of the Israeli Mossad who fights against terrorist groups in Israel and Lara Edmond is the FBI’s primary agent on the lookout and decoding terrorism traffic on the web. Lara Edmond and Uri Levin have been paired up to prevent the terrorist group from attacking the U.S, which will take place in five days. The only way to find the next attack is by searching the web for hiding messages. It is a race against time that must be solved quickly. Not only do you want to know if Uri and Lara can combine their intelligence and expertise to stop and find the next terrorist attack, but what and how did the feeling of these two individuals from different cultures ignite.

While the U.S agents are trying to catch and stop the next terrorist attack, Walid Jahangiri’s and Hossein are planning to carry out the mission in the U.S. The task at hand comes from the leader of the Hezbollah named Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah. Their mission is to end the Zionist State support from the U.S; in doing so sacrifices need be made in the name of Allah.

The only graphic scene mentioned was toward the beginning of the book in Lebanon. There is no offensive language throughout the book. There is one erotic scene, which was classy and not outlandish. This book does not have one single typo or error and is well edited.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Jack Winnick does an amazing job of providing details from the perspective of each character and their roles. You get a better understanding of the minds of the terrorists and the FBI agents. The transition between the storyline intertwines perfectly together and makes the story that much more realistic. I enjoyed getting to understand and getting to know these characters, which was particularly important to the overall story. Like I said before if you are looking to immerse yourself in a book that makes you get out your seat, then this is where you need to start.
