I will definitely be giving the book All Good Things written by Rosemary Reeve a 3 out of 4 stars. This is my first time reading a book by this author, but will definitely not be my last. I loved reading this book and getting to know all the characters, especially Betsy.

Jack Hart, the lead character, has to uncover firm secrets to save one of his colleague's life. Harmony, the missing colleague, is his mentor and also the granddaughter of the firm’s founder. Seattle is where the firm is located, but Piper Whatcom and Hardcastle, in addition have other offices in the country and Asia. Every time Jack thinks he is close to finding Harmony, there will be a dead end. He works closely with the police and manages to get himself in trouble a time or two.

During the book we get to meet characters from different difficult backgrounds and how they responded to the abuse and abandonment during their childhood. Jack has a dog that gives the suspenseful story a little break. She is a handful, a real treat and made me smile so many times during this book. Even Jack himself is a genuinely intriguing character and has his own past that brings life to the story. He has to juggle family drama, work secrets and disappearance of Harmony all at once.

Twist and turns will be found through the book. I was never truly certain about who could be the killer, but at the end when the murderer was discovered, I never would have guessed. I was kept on my toes and never got bored reading about Jack and how the mystery slowly got unraveled. This book also wasn't your average crime story. It is the first book with this type of plot I have read and absolutely loved how it kept me wondering what is going to happen next or who is the murderer. At the end I was blown away with the findings.

I would recommend this book to anyone that loves a good mystery. Even if you know nothing about associate life, lawyers and courtrooms you will easily be able to follow and understand the story. This is what I treasured about it, but this book could have done with a little bit more courtroom action, since Jack is a lawyer. The editing of this book was done very professionally, and I had no problem with it.
