After reading Final Notice by Von Fleisher I give the book 4
out of 4 stars. I couldn’t put the book down it was both captivating and intriguing. The subject of this book is riveting. What would you do if you found out you only had a week to live?

This book is about a medical device that was invented to
monitor patients vitals. It is so accurate it lets patients know if they have a week up to 30 days to live depending on the setting. You will delve into many patients lives and see the decisions they make when they find out their time on earth is limited.

One of the things I liked most about the book is how the author introduces us to the characters. You become absorbed in their lives and become well acquainted with them. The characters range from a nice elderly couple, a widow and even a Senator. The author does an exceptional job of describing the characters and their emotions. The author keeps you engrossed as the author switches from character to character. As a reader it’s very interesting how their reactions all vary from person to person. One person may choose to focus on doing good for others before they die. While others choose to take revenge on others. Some will actually kill others before their time is up.

The backstory in this book focuses on gun issues, the NRA, school shootings, and even the elderly. Should the elderly own guns? What would happen if these patients didn’t own guns at the time they receive their final notice. Would they have made better decisions instead of taking revenge. Is it an ethical choice to give a Final Notice to patients? Are the right decisions made when you are given a short notice that soon you will be dying. Are they in their sound mind when such a daunting piece of news is given to them? This book is a very realistic in the fact that something like this could be invented in the near future.

This book is a must read for readers who enjoy suspenseful books. It will also have you self-reflect, what would you do if you received a Final Notice. Would you want to have your last moments on earth result in positive actions? It would you choose negative actions that would result in revenge
for those that have done you wrong in your lifetime. You will enjoy this book as a page turner that will leave you with lasting thoughts on thr VT2 Tech Watch Notice Feature.
