I dont typically read short stories because I get too invested in the characters, but this book caught my attention and I just had to read it. At first i thought this was going to be a collection of stories similar to the Twilght series. I was pleasantly surprised that this was not the case.

Victoria Faust took me on an adventure so frightening and terrifying I literally could not put the book down. Its Hard to Be a Vampire really makes you think and bring your imagination to the surface. Each story has a very unexpected ending that leaves you pondering whether you read the words correctly. I disliked how much gore there was in some of the stories, however it's really made me feel like I was living the story.

Its Hard to Be a Vampire by Viktoria Faust was a very easy read and flowed smoothly. From the very first sentence I was sucked in. What I liked most was the twists at the end of each story. Due to the darkness in the book i feel the readers should be older than 10. This book left me wanting more yet satisfied at the same time.

I read this book twice over and was unable to find a single error, it was definitely professionally edited. This made the book very enjoyable to read. Exactly what I look for in light reading.

Its Hard to Be a Vampire deserves a high rating. That's why I gave this book a 4 out of 4. I absolutely loved this book, the stories whisked me away from my life and brought me into a strange new world. I am looking forward to reading more from Viktoria Faust in the future. If your a young adult or someone looking to fire up the old imagination, this book is perfect.
