While Nick Parker is trying to get away from his law and order life, two girls are taken from a Hispanic neighbourhood. Nick’s old partner gets in touch suspecting a human trafficking ring. The author grabs the reader's attention from the beginning.

The narrative of the novel centres on Nick Parker, who battles brutality and corruption while making a valiant effort to shield the defenceless. The plot is exciting to read since it has action, suspense, and well-rounded characters. James Meenagh's Death's Companion is a compelling crime thriller that will appeal to those who value justice, morality, and redemption. For fans of the genre, the well-developed characters, sophisticated plot, and examination of deep ideas make it an engaging read.

An ex-assassin versus a notorious shooter is an interesting fight so I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out the exciting battle of Nick and Killer B. How will Reggie and Nick save the kidnapped girls? Exciting book!

'After ten years as an assassin for the United States Government, Nick Parker resigned. He went to work for the Washington State Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in Seattle, Washington.'
This is definitely a crime thriller.

It's an honor when your old partner calls you to ask for assistance because you are the only person they can trust. This is what happened to Nick, the former US assassin, when Reggie called. Thanks for the review.

Your review gave me enough insight into the book. The plot sounds engaging. But the graphic violence and profanity will always hold me back. It is not for the faint of heart. Well, the only thing I'm curious about is the never barking German shepherd Coop. Thank you for the recommendation. Well done

'Official Review: Death's Companion' by James Meenagh provides readers with a thorough insight into the story's plot. It sketches out the character of the story's protagonist, Nick Parker. The reactions to the book provided by the reviewer are noteworthy. I like how the review explores the different points related to the plot. Readers would find this crime story mixed with plenty of action, a bit of humor, and even a surprise heart-wrenching moment. It keeps us in suspense till the end. It was great to learn that the book has all the elements of a great novel and is masterfully written!

I learned that the story in Death's Companion" by James Meenagh revolves around two olds friends, Nick and Reggie Flannigan, reuniting to fight a deadly gang known as 'The Disciples.' I will read to know if the duo succeeded in stopping the gang from trafficking girls.
