This book is character-driven with an engaging plot and many twists and turns. It's great that it can be read independent of the first book in the series. And Kudos to the author for rectifying the writing errors.
Thanks for this amazing review. :tiphat:

An intriguing historical fiction. I love stories that are based on historical events. This is a novel that is centered on Germany during Hitler's era. Even though it was a dark time, it's good to shed light on past errors to avoid them. Congrats on being BOTD.

I like historical fiction books because they rely on events that were real and most of the time they prove to be informational. I like your review and the fact that you appreciate the editors for taking your previous comments on the errors seriously. Cograts BOTD

Wolfgang’s Castle is not crowded with characters. Rather, there are few of them, and they are all strong and well developed. Rex did a good job of connecting them. Also, this book has a good mix of action, suspense, humor, and a bit of romance in it.
I can appreciate this, too. Sometimes is best to have a small but well-developed cast of characters than a vast array of underdeveloped ones.
I must say, there is a great improvement in the editing of this book, as this is the second time I am writing a review on it. I highly commend the author for his response to my first review. However, I still noticed a few errors; these are mostly single words like ‘forever’ and ‘offshore’ presented as ‘for ever’ and ‘off shore’. Nevertheless, I gladly rate Wolfgang’s Castle, my best war-related book, four out of four stars, as the errors are just a few.
It is, indeed, commendable, when authors have a good attitude towards constructive criticism. And your review is excellent! Thank you!

This fast-paced novel sounds like an enjoyable read. I like that it's captivating and fascinating. It's so nice that readers meet a lot of twists, suspense, and humor. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise congrats on the BOTD!

I love historical fiction, but I usually steer clear of Nazi-era-themed novels. They are just too sad for me to stomach. Well done to the author on crafting a spectacular book around such an event.

This book seems intriguing. Nazis are going on a path of destruction and a group of people is trying to stop them. I would like to read this story. Thanks for the great review.

I'd be willing to read the entire series due to my interest in book dedicated to WWII and the Nazi regime. Since the story is told in the first person, I believe it has realism and credibility. It also seems to have complex characters reflecting the war realities of the time. Thanks for your review!

While the strong characters are always a plus for me, historical fiction are not my favourite. I find the setting of war very bleak and try to avoid books set during world wars. So I'll give it a pass. Thanks for the great review.
