The world of magic is an exciting realm of possibilities. The ability of mortals to possess this power adds to its allure in an exciting way. 'Advent of Silver' by Atilla K. Zengin is a magical fictional story about a quest to save the world from the hands of evil magical sorcerers. Jericho (the major character in the book) is locked up in prison for an offense he committed out of good intentions. His future self (Dantanian) arrives and breaks him out of prison. Meanwhile, the chief warden (Liatha) at the correctional facility has sworn to keep all criminals off the street. Jericho has a personal vendetta against his father (Baal) which he needs to settle. Would he ever be able to exact his revenge? With the interplay of magic, self-discovery, bravery, foretold prophecies, and courage, what should the world expect when it’s over? Jericho would have to answer.

I particularly enjoyed the unusual attraction between Jericho and Liatha. This was what I enjoyed the most about the book. My reason is that it made the story more appealing to me. Magic with a touch of romance was quite the combination.

With a magical appeal and intense emotional moments, I found the book to be an encouraging read that helped its reader open his/her heart to endless possibilities. The plot was over-stretched sometimes , but always seemed to bounce back to give lots of euphoric climaxes. It also had an astounding storyline that deviated from the normal way other magical fictions are told. The timeline in the story was sometimes very hard to decipher. All the same, it was balanced by a chronological narration of events that helped make up for this lapse.

I recommend this book to lovers of magic and romance stories. This is because there was an abundant use of magic in the story. Also, lovers of romance would appreciate the romantic relationship between Jericho and Liatha. However, this book would not appeal to anyone who doesn’t like magic stories.

On a scale of 1 to 4, I rate this book 2 out of 4 stars. I didn’t award it a 4 because of its numerous punctuation errors. For example, ““Well, it seems were in quite a prickle, Warden. Mind unshackling these cuffs?”” (Page 119). I took out another star because of the inability of the reader to decipher the actual time some of the events took place. When I started reading the book, I had to read the first three chapters of the story to understand what was happening in the story. I couldn’t tell when those events took place until I had read the first three chapters.

If there was anything I didn’t like about the story, it was the numerous punctuation errors I encountered in the course of reading the book. This was what I appreciated the least in the story. My reason is that I could hardly understand what was being said sometimes.

I understand how you feel about an Author having too many errors throughout a book. Even so, this sounds like an interesting read and I can't wait to read it. Thanks for the review!

Thanks Zimall, MalMartin, and Fozia-Bojwa. I had fun reading this book if not for the typographical errors.
