The Truth About Elves by Ekta R. Garg is a science fiction/fantasy novella. The book is about a man named Curtis who works part time as an elf for Santa Claus. Curtis was an airline pilot, but an accident involving the plane he was flying caused him to abandon that career. The trauma and PTSD he suffered from as a result of that accident changed the course of his life. Ten years after the accident, he hasn't still gotten over the trauma; he had left his family, career, and friends, but when Mr. C asked him to go on an assignment for him, he didn't know that he would have to go back home and face the things and people he had been running away from.

In this book, the plot centers around Curtis, and the book involves several themes like family, loss, redemption, etc. The main character, Curtis, undergoes a journey of redemption after suffering so much pain. The author also shows the bond among family members that will make them stick together no matter the challenges. The book does not just tell the truth about elves but also contains a lot more.

What I liked most about the book was the journey of Curtis towards redemption and reconciliation with his family. His story is one that encourages and makes one believe in hope and redemption no matter the past.

The book is exceptional and captivating; I found nothing to dislike about the book. The book's structure and arrangement were good. The book was well edited, and I didn't notice any typographical errors while reading. I commend the editor for such an exceptional job.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I have had an enjoyable read, and its gripping plot, imaginative narrative, and well-rounded characters all make this book a must read for lovers of holiday novellas. I highly recommend this book to lovers of fantasy and Christmas stories.
