Storm Front Over Atlantis is a captivating blend of fantasy, mystery, thriller, and myth. E.W. Roberts weaves a tale around the protagonist, Victoria (Vic) M. Hartley, who transforms from an all-American teenager into a demi-goddess. The narrative is brimming with vivid action, violence, and horror.

Vic is entrusted with the care of her younger sister and her overworked father after her mother is brutally murdered, dying in Vic's arms. This trauma adds depth to the story, leading her to acquire and sustain both physical and mystical powers. Roberts skillfully hints at the power and significance of this young woman’s future.

Roberts excels in bringing the mythical city of Atlantis to life. It’s not the typical underwater utopia you might expect; instead, it’s a vibrant, dynamic world filled with political intrigue, ancient magic, and an impending sense of doom. The atmosphere is so richly described that you can almost feel the salt in the air and hear the distant crash of waves.

Roberts also demonstrates a knack for pacing. The story moves along briskly, with enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. It’s one of those books where you keep telling yourself, “Just one more chapter,” but find yourself unable to put it down.

Overall, Storm Front Over Atlantis is a grand novel that captivates the imagination with its intriguing plot, well-developed characters, and richly detailed world. Roberts makes light use of profanity, avoids explicit content, and the book appears to be professionally edited. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. There are no flaws or negative aspects in its grammar, nor are there any typographical errors. This is a superb young adult novel that I recommend not only to young readers but to anyone interested in myth and fantasy. However, due to the violence depicted, I do not recommend it for children.
