We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a fictional book that unfolds from a particular land called The Land of Princes where the people are dying of hunger and starvation due to the ongoing war in the land. A young man called Galen Bray, who was from the Land of Princes, having lived through this starvation and death in his land, was determined to have a better life. Luckily, for him, an opportunity presented itself through his dying uncle in Voulhire who needed him to claim his inheritance. Galen quickly grasped this opportunity and went to Voulhire. Galen arriving at Voulhire found out that his late uncle had left him a note and a blacksmith's guide along with the inheritance. Galen meets a friend in Voulhire and they both explore Voulhire together, moving past every obstacle they encounter in this adventure.

I am not a big fan of fantasy books, but this particular one exceeded all my expectations. The author did a spectacular job of developing characters in this book with rich depth. Every character had a role to play in the plot and all characters were given a proper background story which makes the plot more realistic. From Galen coming from a war-ridden land to a new land searching for a better life to Lord Eldus Alderman a newly appointed Lord by King Wilhelm tasked with the responsibility of taking Voulhire to great economic heights. I want to also highlight how exceptional this book's editing was as I found no grammatical errors of any sort in this book and I give the author credit for this as it's a display of his undeniable dedication to ensure that readers have a wonderful reading experience.

In general, I give this book a perfect rating of five out of five stars for the author's rich character development. I had no dislikes of any sort for this book, so there was no reason to deprive it of a perfect rating. I recommend this book to readers who love books that have themes of magic, mystery, and science fiction.
