Garrett and his family members have to be confined to a facility in Arizona after their father's death. David had been on a secret mission for 30 years with the United States government. This mission was due to the discovery of an intergalactic rogue object. The object is set to impact Earth in 2028, and the US and other countries have plans to transport a few individuals off the planet. Garrett has to continue the work and also work on his device, which apparently did not function well during the human-tested flight that killed his father and other crew members. How does this end? Is there success? Read "Exodus" by Jean Hackensmith and Joseph McDowell.

The storyline was captivating enough, ensuring that I was glued and willing to continue. The scenes that were action-packed were properly crafted, ensuring suspense. I was always delighted to read. The communication between the characters was understandable and proper; I particularly liked it whenever the president was speaking.

The use of technological terms such as a warp drive and antimatter and the explanation of the operation of equipment caused a buzz. I was always anticipating such things. It seemed like properly crafted science fiction, with details put in when necessary, and that kept me interested. Familial conversations were not left out, and I liked these conversations as well. They added to the overall completeness of the narrative.

I did not find any errors when I read, and I also found nothing to dislike about the book. It was a great read. Due to the absence of negatives and the presence of positives, I rate the book 5 out of 5.

"Exodus" is perfect for readers who enjoy science fiction with a strong emphasis on technology and interstellar exploration. It will appeal to those who appreciate detailed scientific explanations and well-crafted action scenes. Fans of suspenseful narratives and stories involving governmental secrets and familial bonds will also find this book engaging.
