Review of Behind the Eyes of Zylo Moon
Behind the Eyes of Zylo Moon by David Nathaniel Nealis is a gripping novel that blends elements of realism and fiction as it explores struggles and the journey towards self-discovery. David Nathaniel Nealis spins a fictional tale about hope and strength, which is deemed perfect for the young. We are introduced to Zylo Moon, the protagonist of the novel, who struggles with anxiety and stress. Zylo finds his escape in the world of serenity, a place where animals are able to communicate in the human tongue and robots have feelings. But Zylo's place of refuge is soon threatened by a villain who's insistent on destroying the slim balance between the protagonist's fantasy and reality.
The character development was indeed beautiful and couldn’t go unnoticed. In many ways, I felt Zylo's character resonated with a lot of people in these times. The struggles he faced internally, in some way, portrayed what we go through as humans. The book therefore helps by taking us on a journey of healing and relief from the challenges we grapple with. I found the book to offer a better perception and a deeper relation to the tests of the human spirit, while also helping to light a path towards understanding and recovery.
I liked that the book helped me understand and discover a bit of myself; parts of myself I could not explain were made clear while soaking in the novel. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy gripping novels that combine concepts of realism and fiction, especially those interested in tales of struggle and self-discovery. This book is also suited for young readers who enjoy tales of hope and strength in the face of challenges.
I am utterly enthralled with the book's poetic composition! The use of a wide variety of poetic devices in the language was honestly the icing on the cake for making the book a nice read. The author's ability to create such a lovely universe of magic and wonder is admirable. I really do not have any dislike whatsoever for the book. From the editing to the writing style to the wonderful storytelling, everything was a catalyst for making the book a good read, and it was also error-free.
I gave this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars because of its perfect storytelling, which should be considered a plus to fantasy literature. The author did a good job of ensuring every reader finds this book worthwhile. Everything about this book is highly commendable, and I believe every reader that goes through it will not forget it in a hurry.
