Review of Exodus
It is the year 2023, and the world is about to face its most significant threat yet. A neutron star is on its way to Earth, and in just five years, it will destroy everything in its path. However, there is still hope for humanity, thanks to the groundbreaking work of renowned astrophysicist David Long.
David has developed an incredible spacecraft, named "Aquarius," that could potentially save the human race. The spacecraft is equipped with an antimatter containment system and a warp drive, which could take it to the outer fringes of the solar system and back in a month. However, during the test flight, the crew encountered adverse readings that prompted the Control Room to abort the mission. David convinced that the fluctuations were nothing to worry about, pleaded with the President to continue the mission, and eventually, she agreed.
But tragedy struck when the Aquarius exploded, taking the lives of the crew. Garett's son was left to question the motives behind the mission, but his doubts were quickly dispelled when the President revealed the catastrophic event that was about to occur.
The President offered Garett the opportunity to continue his father's work in a secret underground complex in Arizona. Now, Garett is determined to fix what went wrong with the Aquarius and save the world from the impending disaster. But can he do it? Can he overcome the challenges and save humanity from certain doom?
Follow Garett's journey in this gripping sci-fi novel that takes you on an exciting adventure through space and time. Discover the struggles and emotions of all involved as they face the ultimate challenge of saving humankind from the brink of extinction. Join Garett and his team on their quest to rewrite history and become the saviours of humanity.
Jean's "Exodus" is a masterpiece that leaves no room for critique. The book is free of any typos or major grammatical errors, making the reading experience all the more enjoyable. From the very first page until the end, Exodus has the reader at the edge of their seat, with the plot constantly evolving and keeping the audience engaged throughout. The character of Garett is well portrayed, especially his response to his father's unexpected death on a spacecraft mission which is natural, and the author does an excellent job of capturing the emotional complexity of the situation.
What's more, Jean's writing style is exceptional, with the author expertly interweaving different elements of the story to create a truly immersive experience. The book will have you crying, laughing, and wondering all at once.
Overall, I would give Exodus a 5 out of 5 star rating for its in-depth exploration of the possibilities for the survival of the human race and its exceptional uniqueness. It is truly a must-read for any sci-fi fan.
