Press one for sales, press two for technical support, press **# to nuke this infernal talking AI server into oblivion.
The future is coming and it's hotter than ever! Global warming is no longer a subject for debate. Most people have
accepted it as the normal state of affairs, and hope and pray for relief. Enter EMA! It doesn't do windows or pick up
socks, but it can address major issues that confront all people. Such as climate change, uncontrolled and poorly managed advances in technology, and irresponsible and destructive commerce. EMA is super Artificial
Intelligence. In the 1930's the computer and eventually AI, left the domain of the philosopher and dreamer, and
entered the modern world of the mathematician and computer programmer. Many individuals have contributed to
the rise of AI. Among others were the Great-grandfathers of computer science and AI. Kurt Godel, Alonzo Church
and Alan Turing prepared the ground that AI would sprout from. In the 1950's when AI was born, it's grandfathers
were Allen Newell, Herbert A. Simon, Geoffrey Hinton, John McCarthy and Marvin Minsky. In this story there are also
many geniuses, computer scientists and AI developers. You will also meet some billionaires, inventors, adventurers,
and activists. Also, you will meet a mysterious and kindly Great-grandmother. In this story about AI the point of no
return has come and gone, it's too late. In an enlightened and advanced civilization, tribes are gathering! While,
behind the scenes, a group of individuals frantically search for a way to control and preserve the planet and save
lives. If you think your smartphone virtual assistant is really something, wait till you see the one that Jason has.
His connection to the metaverse is unlike anything you know. At times while reading this story, I had difficulty
understanding who was talking. There were some passages that were non sequitur, and confusing. I found the book to be an introduction to a world of AI that actually exists, a world I was unaware of.
