The science fiction novel Singularity by Jayme A. Oliveira Filho tells the story of a scientist and his family's quest to save the people of Earth from drastic climate changes that have made the planet inhabitable.

It’s the year 2135, and atmospheric pollution is at its peak. Natural resources are almost depleted. Earth's climate has gotten out of hand, making life difficult. The world is in panic due to excessive rain, dust storms, droughts, floods, and increasing sea levels. Amongst all this, brilliant young man Joseph, an astrophysicist determined to solve this problem, develops a formula. Being a fan of Albert Einstein, he used all the concepts of the Big Bang, singularity, black hole, and wormhole to develop a theory. However, his theory is not easily accepted, and he does not get the funding he needs to test his theory. But he knows that his theory is the only thing that can save the people of Earth. So, he keeps working day and night for the benefit of humanity. Will he get the funds to test his theory? Will he succeed in saving humanity? How will he save humanity from extinction? To find these answers, read this sci-fi book.

This book gave total "Interstellar" movie vibes. This book is quite close to reality, despite being fiction. All the issues the author discusses are real, and if we don't act now to save the climate, unfortunately, this will be our future.

There are lots of things I liked about this book. The book is short and of perfect length. This book is educational and increases awareness about climate change among its readers. This book shares the value of persistence and hard work despite failures and the role of family bonds in it.

What I did not like about the book was that the story was too realistic, and sometimes it did not feel like fiction. Also, you need to know some scientific concepts to enjoy this book, like the Big Bang, singularity, wormhole, black hole, etc.

Despite the above drawbacks, I would rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I have given it 5 stars because the drawbacks I have mentioned do not diminish the overall reading experience. This book is ideal for fans of the dystopia and sci-fi genres. This book is eye-opening and should be read by anyone curious about the impact of climate change.
