The beginning is an experience akin to that of emergence into a warm ocean sparkling in the sunlight. The zest of life is so essential to the universe of fables she creates. It is nothing but breathtaking. The new concepts are the kind of spell that makes me tipsy with the intoxicating feeling of wonder. Anderegg accentuates this strength when he realizes the compelling force of the story—the effect of poems and songs on Jirvania changes reality.

Jack is going through this ivy-capturing world, and in the course of that, he gets crushed by this amazing world. Like a seduction of incredible make-believe elements, the story can leave you so dizzy that you no longer know if there is a solid place to stand. Despite its emotional depth, Jack’s character story gets drowned in a frantic show with slick special effects. Like a very fat meringue, Jirvania attempts to supply oversized portions and can make its main flavors all the more obscure.

The plot challenges your sense of presence in Jirvania, where the game plot moves along in the background. Jack's mission to understand kinship connections as well as find his place in this unique milieu develops gradually, but what makes the story authentic is not the result but rather the process itself.

I would award Jirvania five out of five stars because Jan Anderegg excels at informing about the stories within Jirvania, described as a natural force. They aren't just the footprints of our fantasies, but the truth about everything. Such motives can make deep impressions even on the readers who have experienced the unique sense of transformation brought about by the fairy tales. There were no errors with the editing, which was very accurate, and there were no dislikes for the whole book.

Jirvania is Jan Anderegg's compelling and complicated novel. This book rewards those who give up on its endless feeling of enchantment and may be a source of madness to the readers who always yearn for a more comprehensible narrative. If you feel like you want a mainstream fantasy saga, then you might not find it on this journey. Then again, for book lovers whose brains will be overflowing with questions after they finish, Jirvania holds a peculiar and intriguing appeal.
