In Robert Leet’s thought-provoking science fiction novel, Timewise, light is shed on the challenging lives of orphans within our society. The narrative revolves around Ron Larsen, a young man living in Mill Falls, Massachusetts. Ron’s journey unfolds as he immerses himself in the intricate world of quantum physics, seeking answers and purpose. Leet’s exploration of both scientific curiosity and personal struggle makes Timewise a captivating read.

Ron, an orphan raised in various foster homes, found solace in playing chess. A chance encounter with Regina, a physicist, changed his trajectory. Later, he turned to poker for income but faced financial struggles. Amidst it all, love bloomed with Cheryl, though their story eventually took a bittersweet turn. Timewise by Robert Leet delves into the fascinating concept of time travel and the potential for multiple universes. Beyond its focus on temporal science, the narrative chronicles around the protagonist, Ron, from his adolescence to adulthood, highlighting life lessons on friendship, environmental stewardship, and the rewards of achievement.

Timewise caters to readers with a foundational understanding of physics, as it delves into intricate concepts related to time. What I liked the most about the book was the author’s efforts in portraying these complex theories through Ron, an ordinary individual. By doing so, the book bridges the gap between scientific intricacies and relatable experiences, making it accessible to a broader audience.

After completing the book, I found no dislikes. The book left a positive impression on me; it features compelling characters, captivating scientific concepts, and a great storyline. While it alludes to sexual relationships, it refrains from explicit depictions. The editing of the book is notably of high-quality, with no errors. My rating for this book is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. For readers with a curiosity for science, this book promises to engage with interesting subjects woven into a superbly crafted plot.
