Name of the book: The Great Trespass

Author’s name: Steve Teets

Summary: The book ‘The Great Trespass’, written by Steve Teets, the first of the author’s The World of Wolt series is a horror cum science fiction based on time travel. The main protagonist of the novel, Robert Gryffon, was quite satisfied in his life as a popular television personnel with close to null desire to save the humanity. Gryffon was returning home from a his cozy vacation in Costa Rica. But he lands in 2027 only to find about her fiancé’s murder, her mother suffering from fatal cancer and an army of countless demons, called the Wolt, moving towards the United States after devastating the Northern Canada. Gryffon comes to learn about an ancient prophecy and his extraordinary powers. He was chosen to save the humanity from these energies, the Wolts. Gryffon’s time travel experience doesn’t end with this, he jumps back in time, into his own past. His fiancé, Taylor, was alive and perusing her path that could alter Gryffon’s future.

The novel unfolds action, adventure, thrill and horror. You might have a lot of questions, who the Wolts were? Where did they come from? What’s with the prophecy thing and much more. Dive into the book to get answers to all your question.

Positive: Throughout the novel I was thinking that this novel will turn about to be a prank on the reader, as in the protagonist waking up from a dream where he dreamt about being the ultimate hero. Gryffon being a TV star and facing this condition seemed to fit the scenario. Turns out, the author a step ahead then I do. I liked how the author weaved the story, first taking the readers to future and then to past. There is a series of hints he provides throughout these scenes that needs attention to detail.

Negative: I didn’t find anything else that can be put into this section of the review.

Rating and Justification: I would rate this book 5 out of 5 because this novel was a package for every fiction lover. I was able to enjoy this book through action and adventure. The time travel included some suspense and confusion. And the protagonist and his fiancé’s involvement included some emotions. I found the author’s writing style very organized and clear. I liked how I didn’t have to fight with myself in order keep my attention.

Recommendation: I would recommend this book to the readers who’re into fiction, science fiction, action, adventure. Readers interested in time travel could consider reading this book. The book have some non-borderline profane words used which makes it unsuitable to children.

Errors: I didn’t find any errors in the book while reading it. The book is edited professionally.
