Review of Return to Reality
Return to Reality by Mark O'Dell tells the story of a young woman named Shrew Hightfall. At the age of 19, she awakens in the 21st century, completely bewildered by her sudden arrival. It's revealed to her that she had been placed in a virtual reality world at the age of two, believing it to be real her entire life. Her assistant, Till, informs her that injuries sustained in the virtual world shouldn't affect reality, but she soon discovers that her injuries persist in the present day. Further revelations unveil that she has been transported back to the 21st century, and the corporation, led by Mallak, needs her assistance. Shrew negotiates a deal with Mallak that involves her return to her virtual world after helping with the Phoenix Project, a journey to Mars. The book explores whether she can comprehend her new assignments if Mallak keeps his promise of returning her home and whether she can find answers to her many questions. Dive into this captivating and astonishing book, "Return to Reality," to uncover the answers.
I must confess that this book took me off guard. It was indeed an intriguing book, something beyond the normal; it reminds me of how Hollywood movies look; it was really interesting; everything was put together as I read the book, and I could not imagine the captivating information in each chapter and everything. It was an amazing book, and I must commend the author for such a wonderful masterpiece.
My favorite character in this book is Shrew. She has exhibited courage, patience, tenacity, and everything else. She was strong and courageous. It was nice to learn. I salute you for such courage.
I want to congratulate the author on this wonderful masterpiece. It was amazing to put together. There is nothing I dislike about this book. The suspense was amazing. It's worth being translated into a movie; it's indeed a wonderful piece. I will not forget to thank the editor for doing perfect editing; I could not find any mistakes in the book.
I rate this book five out of five stars because I love everything about it. I recommend this book to young people out there who are fans of action stories and movies; they’ll definitely love it.
