Matthew Tysz's "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies is the ultimate fantasy novel that expertly blends elements of magic, adventure, and action in a well-told story with amazing details.

Matthew Tysz's "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" follows the story of a young immigrant, Galen Brey, from a war-torn nation, "Lands of the Princes," to a faraway and almost perfect nation, Voulhire, known for many things: magic, adventure, and unimaginable prosperity. Voulhire is not without its secrets, and one of such would be the supposed 'death' of an evil and powerful Mage Dalehei Midorath, a close friend of the King, Wilhelm Arcolo, and former lord of Hillport who committed unspeakable atrocities. The book follows the lives and adventures of various characters, including King Wilhelm Arcolo, the family of the new lord of Hillport, the Aldermans, and many others.

One of the numerous reasons I liked the book was its detailed storytelling and world-building, which allowed for adequate character development. It takes a gifted author to write a book as detailed as this one. I also liked the suspense and action the book began with; the prologue began with a bloodbath, an interesting and captivating way to start a fantasy book. I must also commend the editing, as I noticed no grammatical errors throughout my reading period. I can't list out all of my likes for the book without mentioning the vivid descriptions and illustrations employed by the author to adequately describe events, places, and people. A perfect example would be when he was describing the bloodbath scene in the prologue during the invasion of Hillport by Midorath.

I found myself without any dislikes whatsoever for the book; rather, I found it difficult to put down until I got to the very last page.

I'd rate Matthew Tysz's "We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" a solid 5 out of 5 stars for its detailed storytelling, world-building, excellent character development, and flawless editing.

I'd recommend the book to every adult and young adult who is a fan of fantasy books.
