Daniel Zeigler's Bright Expanse, volume 2 of the Brightness trilogy, asks us the question: Are humans alone in the universe? Is there extraterrestrial life there?

This book is based on the lifelong dream of Nathaniel Kurt, an astronomer and charismatic man with a successful career and a beautiful wife. He is also a private pilot. He is the principal investigator of the ExPAnSE project, a multi-billion dollar project sponsored by Kanis Inc. and others. He was responsible for proving the existence of an extraterrestrial form of humans and establishing the first contact with them.

But as the project comes to an end, its goal, Nat Kurt's life, begins to fall apart. With all his assumptions shaken by a failed marriage, can he take a critical look at his own skepticism and reconsider the possibility of God's existence? Will Kurt abandon his integrity to avoid personal disaster, or will he choose to love the truth, no matter the cost? Read this great book by Daniel Zeigler to find out.

An absolute thriller from the author, the book is so well written with an interesting plot that it is hard to ignore for even a second. At first, I thought volume 2 would be difficult to understand because I hadn't read the first volume, but I was wrong. Everything is easy for me. It's well written and edited; there are no errors to be found, and I also like that I didn't encounter any sexually explicit or extreme content. I also liked how the author took the time to explain every little detail to the readers. These little details are often overlooked by others, but he took the time to explain them, and it made me understand the book even more.

I have nothing to dislike about this book. As said before, this is a great read. It's not too difficult to confuse his readers.

I rate this book five stars out of five. A great book by Daniel Zeigler Well edited and written with simple vocabulary.

I recommend this book to fantasy novel lovers; it has everything you are looking for. Plot twist, interesting plot. It's just the whole package.
