In Robert Leet's novel, Timewise, we encounter Ron Larsen, a fascinating character whose life is intertwined with chess, physics, and a quest for self-discovery. Initially drawn to chess as both a hobby and a means to earn money, Ron's chance encounter with Professor Regina Russo proves to be a turning point. Their conversation sparks a newfound interest in physics, leading him to work diligently to join Regina's science class.

Despite their eventual separation after graduation, fate brings them together once more, altering the course of Ron's life forever. The portrayal of Ron Larsen as an orphan searching for his identity resonates deeply, making him a relatable and compelling protagonist. His passions for chess, mathematics, and even drugs add complexity to his character, propelling the narrative in unexpected directions.

Ron, an orphaned young man, faced the daunting challenge of securing his meals. His determination to learn impressed me deeply. Regina, on the other hand, displayed incredible persistence in imparting the knowledge he needed. While Regina played a significant role in Ron's journey of self-discovery, he deserves much credit for actively exploring his potential and pushing his boundaries. Robert Leet's storytelling artistry truly shines in this remarkable creation. The first meeting between Regina and Ron appears to be more than mere coincidence; it seems like a serendipitous convergence of destinies.

Each time a fresh character stepped into the story's spotlight, a subtle yet potent essence of their joys or sorrows would seep through the intricate tapestry of their background stories. Ron's interactions with these individuals allowed me to submerge myself in the narrative, forging a deeper bond with the protagonist. The book's strength and allure were heightened by this element, for even the seemingly minor characters played pivotal roles in the grand scheme of things.

During countless encounters with Ron and Regina, I couldn't help but find myself getting lost in almost every conversation. As the lively chatter filled the air, my mind would often drift away, captivated by a swirl of contemplations and daydreams.

However, the dislike above will not affect the rating of this book. I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The book is exceptionally edited. I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy immersive storytelling and character-driven narratives.
