We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz is a captivating tale that follows Galen Bray and his adventurous journey to Magnum Caelum, a town in Voulhire. He embarks on a journey filled with adventure and encounters various characters along the way. The author sets the stage for a diverse and adventurous tale, incorporating elements of fantasy, politics, and mystery. The story begins with a heavy dose of violence. The yard of Castle Hillport was filled with swords, archers, and a magistrate. The captain of a castle is arrested and sent to prison for vandalism and assault. The Emperor of Lullabies suspected his sons had resolved their differences in a conspiracy against him. The emperor removed the four princes from their palace and gave them islands off the mainland. The war dragged on for years, with each prince facing death or starvation.

The author's ability to create a sense of mystery and adventure is commendable, as it keeps readers engaged and curious about the story's unfolding. The Feast of Human Hands in Soulhire (the capital of Voulhire) and the encounter with King Wilhelm highlight a festive and grand celebration, showcasing a vibrant setting and a rich cast of characters. The introduction of Galen to Magnum Caelum and his interactions with the mayor, Artie Eichel, and Rita introduce additional dynamics to the story. When Galen and his company finally arrived at Magnum Caelum, they enjoyed the view of the ocean and sky, the crackling flames beside them, and one another's company.

There's nothing I dislike about the book, and I’m rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was exceptionally edited with no errors, and the story is very interesting. The character development is also great, with an excellent writing style. The book contains profanity.

I recommend this book to lovers of fantasy, imagination, science, and spirituality. Its engaging premise, action-packed sequences, and intriguing characters make it a gripping read.
