AI is becoming the new normal gradually. Aren't you curious about what the future would look like with AI being the crux of the society? Good news! No need to wait till years from now, just grab Terms of Service Subject to Change Without Notice by Craig W. Stanfill.

The book is set in the future. A future where AI has become the central and integral part of the society. One minute offline can cause the crashing of the society; not just the social aspect of the society, but even the physical part. Kim works with AIs. She trains them to get better at their jobs.

Added to that, she is a law-abiding citizen with a dose of desire for adventure that gets her into trouble especially if she's with Shan, a childhood friend. Together, they get into trouble which, unbeknownst to her, will threaten to shred the fabric of life as Kim knows it.

I like the book. A lot! The narrative is so captivating. The author renders the story in a manner that engages the reader and paints the unfamiliar futuristic world with vivid descriptive words that the readers feel themselves step into the world as they read on. It is just like being a witness as a painter moves his brush on the canvass and a beautiful picture comes together.

Another thing I cannot help liking in this book is the twists. If you are so used to reading books, you would start having a bank of expected ends. This novel will surprise you. Things do not go as you expect, and it is a good thing. You get to experience what a narrative should have, suspense. It is cleverly deployed it enhances the book.

Do I hate anything in the book? No, I do not. A book that keeps you engaged with a centralized plot and is exceptionally edited? You don't get to see errors that interfere with the message? I cannot find fault with such a book. And this book is that kind of book and more. Due to these aforementioned reasons, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

If not for some parts that are beyond what some age groups should be exposed to, I would have said this book is for everyone. It is for everyone, but they have to be 16 years at least, or above. If you are a geek or not, graduate or not, this book is for you. Even, you do not need a piece of background knowledge in AI before you read this book. The author made sure the book is that good.
