Review of We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies
As the Onita Steel company's heir, Galen succeeded his uncle while visiting the Land of the Princes in Magnum Caelum, a region of the Voulhirian Kingdom ruled by King Wilhelm. Lord Eldus Alderman, a former judge, was sent by the king to this economically depressed location in the Hillport area above Magnum Caelum. If Galen was beginning to study the forge in Magnum Caelum, Lord Eldus would also look into the odd behavior of the former administration. Lord Eldus once became perplexed after receiving strange stones from an enigmatic source. Was it a harbinger of evil omens? Soon, soldiers in dance formation arrived. Why? On the other hand, when searching for "lactis" at his request, Galen and Rowan (his guide) came across a magician on the mining site. They looked into it and discovered several precious stones. Were these stones akin to those of Lord Eldus? Try reading We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies, the first book in this series authored by Matthew Tysz, if you're looking for an enthralling science-fiction book.
Anyone who enjoys reading this genre should pick up this book, and fans of political thrillers will also appreciate the author's inventive writing style's cryptic political turns. If a businessperson were to ever read this story, the author would include odd but successful discussions. Because of abrupt explicit scenes like killing several people, this novel is not suitable for young readers. The Voulhirian Empire's flow will essentially be appreciated by science fiction enthusiasts.
The plot's structure is one of Matthew's skills in this story's weaving. Although it was a little slow, he presented a compelling character development. Although the series' primary protagonist isn't the main draw, the author creates a distinctive setup to keep humor in every situation. When adding or removing the supporting characters, the author has a subtle talent. The story's rhythm, nevertheless, left me a little bewildered because the action didn't begin immediately away. The first book I read had plenty of exciting adventures from the first, but the last ten pages left me feeling a little underwhelmed. The turns are rather frightening.
To start, the book is straightforward and expertly edited; I don't find any misspelled words. Secondly, I find it difficult to put the lobster scenes down and find myself yearning them as I turn the pages. Thirdly, the game of rock-paper-scissors has a figurative significance that really amazes me. And finally, I enjoy reading while seeing the soldiers dancing.
I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. In all honesty, the plot drags a bit in the beginning, but that doesn't stop me from reading. The following theme is one to which I am deeply affixed: links to family, business, friendship, loyalty, and service. Additionally, the magic is incredibly interesting when used to solve crimes and pit warriors against magicians. There is a whole lot more to offer, such as reason and reasoning, leadership and administration, and peace over power.
