The story is set in the fictional world of Voulhire, a land ruled by the powerful Agerastian class who possess supernatural abilities. The story revolves around the journey of a young man named Aiden Wainwright, who arrives in Voulhire as a refugee seeking sanctuary from the wars that have devastated his homeland.

As Aiden navigates the complex political and social landscape of Voulhire, he discovers that the Agerastians rule the land with an iron fist, subjugating the common people and enforcing their will with brutal force. Aiden also learns that he possesses a rare and powerful gift, which makes him a target for those who seek to exploit his abilities for their own gain.

Despite the dangers, Aiden is determined to make a life for himself in Voulhire and decides to join the local militia to earn his keep. In doing so, he becomes embroiled in the complex power struggles of the land, as various factions vie for control and influence.

As Aiden becomes more involved in the affairs of Voulhire, he begins to question the morality of the Agerastian rulers and their use of supernatural powers to dominate and control the populace. This leads him to join a resistance movement that seeks to overthrow the ruling class and bring about a more just and equitable society.

Along the way, Aiden meets a cast of memorable characters, including his love interest, Elisa, a member of the resistance who helps him hone his abilities and teaches him about the history and culture of Voulhire.

"We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies" is a dark and complex tale of political intrigue, personal growth, and supernatural powers. The book has been praised for its intricate world-building, engaging characters, and thought-provoking themes, including the nature of power, the corrupting influence of absolute authority, and the struggle for justice and freedom.

For me is an 5 out of 5 this book, i love it.
