Terms of Service by Craig W. Stan fill gives you more than just a glimpse of sci-fi fiction and what the world of the future is like. It features a character named Kim, who is rather a victim of a controlled world where “freedom” does not exist. The book is fictional and portrays how the future population is controlled by an artificial intelligence company, the company monitors everything you do and uses strict protocols which have become a normal part of the life of the people.

I thought this book was interesting, especially the adventurous side of the book. The author did a great job at detailing the scenes, it made me feel like I was there with the characters and could easily empathize with most of them. The overall storyline was great and unique in its own sense.

Also, I could tell almost right away that the author is a specialist because the book was able to specify how the AIs worked in a professional manner. It also made the book more interesting for readers who already like the style. I thought it made the book more precise and fascinating, so I praise the author for that.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars . Though I enjoyed the book, reading the first pages felt bland. The storyline at the beginning felt somewhat like a typical reference to most sci-fi-themed movies for me. I deducted a star because I felt like a few parts of the story were a bit repetitive and didn’t catch much of my attention.

I recommend this book to a more mature audience as there are some descriptions of sexual behavior, though not necessarily a lot. I also recommend it to readers who know the basics of artificial intelligence since some things might be harder to catch up to if you don't know anything about how AIs work.
