There are people in the world who solely want to wield violence; there are intelligent people who would stop at nothing to get power; and there are those with so much power that they can't even trust their relatives because of greed. In We are Voulhire: A New Arrival under Great Skies by Matthew Tysz, you will experience it all. The author's fantasy work aims to ferry readers to exciting magical realms. This book delves into intriguing topics such as royalty, conflict, power, and more. Two parallel stories are offered to us. One narrative follows a refugee named Galen who is lucky enough to flee a city where you either die by sword or stave, while the second plot follows a little village named Hillport that has seen several tragedies.

Galen's uncle's passing provides him with an opportunity to leave his homeland, where all they know is war, and enter Voulhire, a vast kingdom ruled by King Wilhelm. Galen is adapting to a new social order while trouble looms on the horizon. He eventually comprehends the mysteries of Voulhire and his background, gaining a better understanding of the forces of good and evil. Get your hands on a book to discover more about Galen and Hillport.

I believe that anyone who takes their time reading this book will stumble on a lot of things to like, just like I have. First of all, I love how the characters developed. The book's descriptive style was the second item I discovered to be in its favor. Despite the parallel narratives in this book, the author was still able to employ simple vocabulary that was easy to comprehend, which helped to make the book simple to read. Last but not least, I like and cherish the author for practically and symbolically outlining the country of Voulhire. My understanding of the kingdom was improved by the map he provided.

I have nothing negative to say about Matthew Tysz's book. I found it difficult to put the work down because there were no typographical errors. It was exceptionally well-edited. I am excited to read the upcoming books since they have so much potential. Given all that I've said and the immense delight I had while reading it, I will be pleased to award this book the full grade. It would be unjust to do otherwise. I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend readers who like fantasy and science fiction with action and magic pick up a copy of this book and read it.
