The narrative of the novel Zona: The Forbidden Land, written by Fred G. Baker, depicts an excursion team's journey into the land of Zona. Before this expedition, Randall Taylor was declared legally late after he did not return from his previous expedition for more than a year. As his heir, Randall's nephew, Dr. Grant Taylor, moved to Russia to take possession of his uncle's apartment and other belongings. When Dr. Taylor first got to his uncle's apartment in Russia, he saw a man inside his uncle's home who was throwing some books around, and as Dr. Taylor got closer to him, the man flew through a broken window. Dr. Grant Taylor became motivated to look into his uncle's disappearance on his last excursion after reading some of his journal. To find Uncle Randall, Dr. Taylor agreed to go with an expedition team on a journey into the land of Zona. During his last expedition, what happened to Randall Taylor? Did Dr. Taylor find Randall? Find out more by reading Fred G. Baker's Zona: The Forbidden Land.

The action scenes in this novel are thrilling and well explained by the author. It was difficult for me to put this book down after reading the first chapter because the plot captivated my attention. I liked the tension in this book; I didn't get bored reading it, and I was curious to know how the tale ended.

Interesting and fully developed characters are found in this book. I admire Fred G. Baker's creativity and his distinctive writing style. I like the author for evoking strong feelings in the reader. My favorite character in this book is Dr. Grant Taylor. I admire his enthusiasm for looking into the disappearance of his uncle, which demonstrates how much he cares for and misses him. Colonel Volkov is another character in this book whose leadership abilities I like.

When reading this book, nothing bothered me. I liked the suspense, action, and romance in this novel, and I had a fantastic time reading it. I did not find this book dull or a source of boredom. I'll rate this book five out of five stars. This book is exceptionally well edited, and I did not come across any grammatical faults while reading it.

Because this book contains foul language and explicit sexual content, I would recommend it to mature readers. I'll also suggest fans of adventure, romance, and action stories read this book.
