The book is about the evolution of an orphan girl from the streets to saving the world. It is the journey of the girl finding herself and evolving into a strong and intelligent warrior who plays the greatest role in saving the world from darkness. The book has historical fiction and adventure as its primary genre.
The positives about the book are the detailing which helps the reader to visualize the scenarios very clearly and the development of the protagonist. The description of the area, time zones, powers of the gods, and how the girl uses her learnings and interactions to solve the challenges she faces is really good. The third and fourth parts of the book are intriguing.
The negatives of the book are, it felt a little laggy in a few places during the first part of the book which could have been avoided by less description. It becomes a little hard to remember the names of the characteristics during the third and fourth parts which can cause some confusion. I felt the ending before the epilogue is too abrupt, the author could have made defeating the evil a little more complex.
To summarise, it is a good book for someone who loves historic and mythical fiction with some adventure and a strong female protagonist. Other than being a little lengthy and lagging in some chapters, it is a lovely book with the ability to take the reader into a fictional world.
The book has some curse words like "Damn" on the 23rd page, and words like whore and slut so it may not be appropriate for children below 14.
The book doesn't have any sexual scenes so it is appropriate for children above 14 and also adults.
The editing of the book is really good without any recognizable typos.
I would give it 4/5 as I feel its a little lengthy, laggy, and can confusing with the names of the characteristics.
